- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Refuse Removal and Food Waste Disposal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located in Terminal Island. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111. The size standard is $38.5 million. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. The contractor will provide the following service: rental of two (2) 34 cubic yard hydraulic compactors; two (2) 40-yard open top roll off units; two (2) 4-yard open top with locking lid roll offs; two (2) 16'- Food waste with locking lid roll offs; Location #1, 34-cu. yard hydraulic compactors - total of 104 estimated pulls; Location #2, 34-cu. yard hydraulic compactors - total of 26 estimated pulls; Location #3, 40-yard open top roll off unit - total of 24 estimated pulls; Location #4, 40-yard open top roll off unit - total of 12 estimated pulls; Location #5, 4-yard open top with locking lid roll off - total of 26 estimated pulls; Location #6, 4-yard open top with locking lid roll off - total of 12 estimated pulls; Location #7, Food waste with locking lid roll off - total of 26 estimated pulls. The attached Statement of Work will include details. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 18 2017, and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 8, 2017. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
