- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, dated January 19, 2017. Solicitation VA262-17-Q-1693 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. This procurement will be issued under as a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code is 339112 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard 1000 Employees. The Government is seeking a contract to acquire an integrated power console system and a microdebrider with instrument tray for multispecialty surgical procedures involving the ear, nose, and throat. This solicitation is seeking brand name or equal to products. The requirement consists of the following systems and components as brand name or equal to products: Unit: Product Number: 1899200: Microdebrider: M5 ROHS Product Number: 1898001: Integrated Power Console (IPC) System See attached SF 1449 Solicitation for further details. Place of Performance: VA Los Angeles Medical Center (VAGLAHS), 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073 Period of Performance: Within 90 days of placing order or sooner if available. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Furthermore, Provision 52.212-2 is utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) on an Acceptable/Unacceptable evaluation process.
