Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with only one source, Energy Technologies, Inc., CAGE: 0XBF7, under the authority of FAR 13.106. The government intends to purchase the following: Quantity of (16) of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), 1.5 KVA, Rackmount Front Battery Access, EQT Enhance (P/N ETI0001-2228AA) Energy Technologies is the sole supplier for the item listed above. The UPS (P/N ETI0001-2228AA) provides filtering power and protection for the OL-657A(V)/S, Data Processing Group, Ship-Self Defense for SSDS MOD A platforms through internal LAN Access Units (LAUs). Interested persons may respond to the requirement with proof of capability to meet form, fit, and functional requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes with supporting documents received before the closing date of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation number is N63394-17-T-0171 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335312 with a small business size standard of 1250 employees.
