- Request for Interested Manufacturers FROM: Gus Monos/410/SCMS/GULB TO: DLA Aviation Procurement Operations at Warner Robins (SPRWA1) LOCATION: Robins AFB, GA 31098-1813 FBO Post Title: Request for Interested Manufacturers 4920-01-603-7426RN Mach Number Simulator SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Mach Number Simulator 4920-01-603-7426RN, PN 4384-0995. ITEM DESCRIPTION The Mach Number Simulator, PN 4384-0995, enables maintenance personnel to simulate the engine mach number and control signals during off-wing testing of Pratt & Whitney F100 engines. Impediment to Competition: The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Atec Inc. (CAGE 09552), which maintains its configuration by part number and configuration control. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Atec Inc. is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the Mach Number Simulator performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment. INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Atec Inc. for the manufacture of the Mach Number Simulator in support of the PWA F100-PW-100, - 200, -220(E), and -229 series aircraft engines. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 30 August 17 closing date by emailing Gus Monos at gus.monos.1@us.af.mil and/or dla.dlr.proc@us.af.mil. The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
