Description
This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 422 and 277 Electrical Upgrade and Chiller Piping. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements. The contractor shall assure the attached waste summary checklist and DD Form 1354 are completed within 3 working days of "place in service date" and submitted to USACE and Kirtland AFB Real Property office to get it staffed to the BCE for signature, at the conclusion of the project. 2. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: a.Demolition 1. Contractor must demo existing air curtain as indicated on drawings. 2. Contractor must demo existing BMS switches as indicated on drawings. 3. Contractor must demo existing motion sensors as indicated on drawings. 4. Contractor must remove existing security panel as indicated on drawings. b.Construction 1.Contractor must provide and install new air curtain as indicated on drawings. 2.Contractor must patch, repair, paint walls as indicated on drawings. 3.Contractor must provide and install new chilled water piping to Labs 105/106 as indicated on drawings. 4.Bid Option - Contractor must provide and install new power to Lab 103 as indicated on drawings. 5.Bid Option - Contractor must provide and install new power to Lab 105 as indicated on drawings. 6.Bid Option - Contractor must provide and install new power to Lab 106 as indicated don drawings. 7.Contractor must install new government provided security panel and key pad as indicated on drawings. 8.Contractor must provide and install new BMS switches as indicated on drawings. 9.Contractor must install new government provided motion sensors as indicated on drawings. 10.Contractor must provide and install all new wiring for security devices as indicated on drawings. 11.Contractor must provide and install new wiring for SARS line as indicated on drawings. Contractor must provide and install new door seals as indicated on drawings.
