WAGE DECISION NY12 MODIFICATION NUMBER 18 DTD 08112017 SUFFOLK COUNTY NY - SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0002 IFB HSCGG1-17-B-PRV148 SUFFOLK COUNTY DEPT OF HEALTH WASTE WATER PERMIT DOCUMENTS - SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0002 HSCGG1-17-B-PRV148 REBUILD WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AT USCG STATION FIRE ISLAND, BABYLON, NY (SUFFOLK COUNTY) STANDARD FORM 30 - SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0002 HSCGG1-17-B-PRV148 REBUILD WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AT USCG STATION FIRE ISLAND, BABYLON, NY (SUFFOLK COUNTY) HSCGG1-17-B-PRV148 ISSUE DATE: JULY 18, 2017 Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to Rebuild Water Distribution System at USCG Station Fire Island, Babylon, New York (Suffolk County). Contractor shall replace the existing underground water distribution system that provides potable water to the entire Station, BMF, and 13 Housing units that are collocated on the site. The piping will be replaced from where it enters each building all the way back to the water main. Portions of the distribution pipe size will be increased, to ensure all fire hydrants and buildings receive the required water flow. Temporary piping and associated infrastructure shall be provided to maintain fully operational systems throughout the project duration. Any disconnections in service shall be coordinated with the USCG as indicated on the specifications. The solicitation will include two (2) optional bid items: Optional Bid Item #1 is for the installation of potable water distribution loop. The Contractor shall provide a separate price for the installation of a water distribution loop to meet fire protection flow and pressure requirements. Optional Bid Item #2 is for the installation of grease trap and associated repairs. The Contractor shall provide a separate price for installation of a grease trap interceptor. The new inline exterior grease trap will be installed along the sewer line for the Multi Mission Building, separate bathroom lines from the kitchen wastewater line, and tie back into the main downstream of the grease trap. The Period of Performance for this project is 220 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed inclusive of all optional bid items. The estimated value of the procurement is between $750,000 and $1,000,000 inclusive of all optional bid items. Solicitation packages will be available on 18 JULY 2017. The date set for receipt of bids is 24 AUGUST 2017 at 2:00 pm (per amendment 0002 issued 14 August 2017). This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14 and pursuant to FAR Part 19.5 is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million.
