IT WILL ONLY BE OPEN FOR 3 DAYS......PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT THAT HAS THE DESCRIPTION AND QTY'S. ******THIS POSTING WILL CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY AUG 16, 2017 @ 11:00 AM.******** SSA Background: The E-2/C-2 Air Vehicle Flight Test Lab (AVFTL) at Patuxent River MD consists of a data processing system for the E-2C, E-2D, and C-2A aircrafts which is tied to the Research, Development, Test, & Engineering (RDT&E) unclassified network. The EMC VNX-5300's is connected internally to a Brocade Fiber Switch within the lab. This device is used to store all of our flight test data files, system images, and databases used within the program. This procurement request is for renewing the maintenance requirement of such devices indicated in efforts of alleviating risk (both cost and schedule) to the program because such needed files would not be obtainable to facilitate the delivery of a safe mission critical asset to the Fleet in a timely fashion. Being able to store upon demand all of our data is of paramount importance to our Fleet Support role. The EMC VNX5300's are the tools currently used to perform this task within this lab. It is designed to work efficiently with our current operating systems and Quantum Scalar tape backup unit. Product Description: The E-2/C-2 AVFTL has a complex network of servers, workstations, Quantum Scalar, and the EMC NAS's which is used as storage to work with the Quantum Scalar as a data management tool to provide a centralized, fast, automated, and configurable storage unit. Period of Performance: Maintenance renewal requirements of the items indicated below would be required on a yearly basis for at least the next 5 years. Attached are the part numbers and descriptions Period of performance would start from date of award to one year based on each items end date.
