- This is a large purchase buy for NSN 6105-01-270-9739, Motor Alternating Current Specifications, plans or drawings are not available from the Government. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The total quantity required is 4 each. Quantity / Price Breaks of 2-4 and 5-10 each will be requested. The delivery of all 4 each will be to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070. The small business standard is 1,000 employees. Current approved source is Hansome Energy Systems (51802) PN A-405-139. This solicitation opens 30 August 2017 and closes 2 October 2017. The Government's requested delivery time is 322 days. Inspection/acceptance will be at destination and the FOB point will origin. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issuing date of 30 August 2017.
