Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexandria Health Care Systems intends to solicit quotes from Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The overall purpose is to provide and install Ophthalmic Microscope for use in the OR in eye surgeries at the Alexandria VAHCS. This equipment is essential to perform the eye surgeries on campus at AVAHCS. This microscope has capabilities to perform all types of eye surgeries that the facility is currently approved for. Alexandria Veteran Affairs Health Care System (AVAHCS), Pineville, Louisiana. The contractor shall provide delivery, install, and test all listed equipment. All products must meet all salient characteristics defined in this section. All products must meet all salient characteristics defined in the statement of work. All equipment must meet manufacturers and VA specifications. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about August 15, 2017 with a closing date for proposals on or about August 29, 2017. The solicitation will be available for download from www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. The Government anticipates making a firm-fixed price contract for this requirement. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339113 and size standard is 750 and the solicitation will be issued for SDVOSB (set-a-side). All responsible sources may submit quotes which shall be considered by the Agency. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) database (information on registration requirements can be obtained by the Internet at https://www.sam.gov and submit their complete Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) via online at https://orca.bpn.gov at proposal due date/time. The solicitation must be accomplished by the deadline and may be emailed to: sharrion.young-mosley@va.gov).
