- The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-14-G-0020 to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX for F-35 Lightning II Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 (18) initial production spares. The proposed contract will procure initial air vehicle spares to include F-35 common spares, F-35A unique spares, F-35B unique spares, F-35C unique spares, afloat spares packages (ASP)/deployment spares packages (DSP), partner unique requirements and associated consumables. The proposed contract actions are for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Lockheed Martin Corporation under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. All responses received by the Government within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
