- THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA, is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), concerns; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or a Veteran Owned Small Business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. SDVOSB or VOSB business concerns should be capable of furnishing all labor, supervision, and parts, to include all equipment necessary to perform all work required under the proposed contract. Performance Period: The performance period will be one base year with four 1-year options to renew. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, travel and transportation necessary to perform preventive maintenance service for a Canon Colorwave 650 printer and TCS scanner. NAICS: 811212 This requirement is to provide preventive maintenance service for Canon Colorwave 650 printer, and TCS scanner located at the Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Building 20, (Engineering Service), Room 111, Columbia SC 29209. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall perform monthly preventive maintenance services that include all service calls, labor, travel and all parts necessary to ensure a Colorwave 650 printer and scanner remain operational at all times. The contractor will respond to service calls made by a VA representative within a 24 hour timeframe. Services will include, but are not limited to the following: Troubleshooting problems or issues that may occur rendering the equipment inoperable. Clearing and repairing paper jams Loading the paper feeder Loading toner pearls Cleaning rollers and feeders Lubricating as needed Ensuring copies and scans remain free from streaks, toner marks or any other issue preventing clear, high quality prints. Maintenance services include toner pearls for the Colorwave 650 printer and scanner. The Contractor shall provide standard care coverage, including all service calls, labor and parts, excluding consumables. AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE WILL BE POSTED WHEN THE SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
