SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item(s) for the Fayetteville VAMC, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301: We are looking for Orthopedic Surgical {Fracture} Table. Minimum salient characteristics (specs) are listed below: A mobile, power operated orthopedic table providing power adjustable height, Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg, lateral tilt and leg spar articulation functions. Table must accommodate the following procedures and applications: For the operative limb Anterior Approaches to the hip to include: Total Hip Arthroplasty Anterior Hip Resurfacing Hip Arthroscopy Treatment of Femur Fractures to include: Intramedullary (IM) Nails Dynamic hip screws Knowles pins Treatment of Tibia Fractures to include: IM Nailing Tibia Total Knee Arthroplasty Lower extremity osteotomy Traction of the lower extremity For the non-operative limb Safe support Positioning away from fluoroscopy Table must provide: complete radiolucency allow anterior/posterior, lateral and oblique views intraoperatively unrestricted fluoroscopic C-arm access Table must support a patient weight of 450 lbs. Supine and Lateral patient positioning are required. Table must include a Medical Pad; providing patient comfort and safety during surgery that contours to the patient s anatomy while providing adequate support and equalizing pressure load. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
