N00421-17-Q-0307 A ADJUSTED SOLICITATION DATES N00421-17-Q-0307 B Solicitation N00421-17-Q-0307 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order to RTI PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). RTI (Real Time Innovations) Connext Data Distribution Service Professional Development software is an integral part of the AN/UPX-34 Ships Advanced Radar Target Identification System software in the fleet. To maintain the fielded software, DDS Professional Development subscription renewal is needed. Maintenance support for the software can only be obtained from RTI, the Original Equipment Manufacturer. As such, they retain the proprietary data rights and are the only vendor capable of providing licensing, upgrades, and maintenance. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. All interested parties MUST submit their capabilities and a quote to christina.e.simpson@navy.mil no later than 17 AUG 2017 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time. The Government will make a decision to consider other offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract based upon response to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. All other information is in the attached RFQ.
