Description
The purpose for this amendment is to clarify the discrepancy on page 21 of 22 of the SF1442 to correct the Response Due Date to read: Address to submit proposals: Address to submit proposals: Proposals must be received at the physical address below or the email address below, no later than 12:00 noon on August 28, 2017. This is a pre-solicitation announcement 693JF717R00013 for the Department of Transportation/Maritime Administration. The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is seeking a qualified, licensed and insured contractor to provide labor, material, transportation, tools, equipment and supervision for the resurfacing of the roadway, including curbs, behind Land Hall and the upgrade of the drainage system in that area. The fact that this roadway does not have any storm-water catch basins have led to severe erosion of the road surface and curbs. This presents a safety hazard to pedestrians and vehicular traffic located at the USMMA 300 Steamboat Road, Great Neck, New York. Request for Proposals will be issued on this Federal Business Opportunities website on or before 15 days after this synopsis notice is posted. This announcement is a 100% Small Business set-aside. Period of Performance: Work is to be completed 30 days after Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) is issued to the awardee. In accordance with FAR 36.204, disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in July 2017.
