- SF1449/SOW/Picture This is a combined synopsis solicitation. The United States Merchant Maritime Academy (USMMA) is operated by the Maritime Administration (MARAD): an agency of the United States Department of Transportation seeks a qualified and experienced contractor to provide labor, material, transportation, tools, equipment and supervision to perform a complete refinishing of the O'Hara Hall gymnasium floor located at the USMMA, 300 Steamboat Road Kings Point, NY 11024-1699. Tasks will include sanding the existing floor down to the wood surface, minor repair work, repainting lines, playing areas and logos, and finishing the floor with a high gloss urethane coating. Area is approximately 18,000 square feet. See the attached 29 page solicitation to include SF1449, Statement of Work, and picture/drawing of the Gym Floor. Proposals must be received by 5:00 pm on August 25, 2017 and must be emailed to the primary contracting officer referenced in this solicitation.
