- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island has a requirement to solicit proposals for the procurement of DT-100 Staves built to print in accordance with NAVSEA and NUWC drawings. Estimated quantities of up to (100-600) each per year are anticipated with a total maximum quantity of 5,500 DT-100's over the five year contract. Delivery shall be made to Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI. This is follow-on to purchase order N66604-05-C-1050 awarded to Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems, Inc. A five (5) year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions is anticipated. This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. This procurement is being solicited as 100% small business set-aside basis as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office for Small Business Programs. Solicitation N66604-17-R-1497, (a Sources Sought for this requirement was previously listed on 09 March 2017 under Solicitation Number N66604-17-R-1497), is anticipated to be released on or about 14 November 2017. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the solicitation. Technical proposals are required. The Government intends to award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value, considering cost/price, past performance, small business participation and technical factors. The evaluation criteria will include technical capability, past performance and Total Evaluated Price (TEP). The award decision will be made using Best Value methodology. All timely offers will be considered. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for monitoring the site for any amendments. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. NOTE 1: The technical specification drawings associated with this requirement are marked Distribution D which means distribution is authorized to the DOD and US DOD contractors with a valid Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification.
