- Statement of Work & Diagrams Solicitation Form, Provisions & Clauses Contract Performance Questionnaire Categorical Exclusion Documents Overview The Maritime Administration (MARAD) seeks a contractor to remediate water seepage through a basement wall at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Patten Hall Medical Clinic. Period of Performance Work is to be completed within thirty (30) calendar days after notice to proceed (NTP) is approved. Contract Type Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Set-Aside/Size Standard This procurement is a Small Business set-aside under NAICS Code 236220 (size standard in millions of dollars of $36.5) or similar. Evaluation Criteria The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals • Factor 1 - Technical approach/Experience Past Performance (Note: Provide two (2) relevant past performance projects performed within the last five (5) years. Please provide the contract/project #, description, POC and dollar amount.) • Factor 2 - Price The Technical and past performance factors, when combined, is slightly more important than price. In accordance with FAR-237-1 Site Visit, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Other Information Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. Also, offerors must ensure annual Representations and Certifications are current or complete them on the SAM website. It is the prospective offeror's responsibility.
