- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. However if interested the Government shall consider all responces. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 per FAR 6.302-1(c). The NAICS code for this action is 541712. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems For Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in Systems For Award Management. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: http://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with the SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this Acquisition Office, all offers must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number. Download mass spectra files from a password-protected server, QTY 1/EA. 2. Search the mass spectra files download in deliverable (no.1 ) against a hybrid Human Plasmodium falciparum, QTY 1/EA. 3. Identify peptides containing MHC Class I anchor residues using the analysis tools for proteomics software, QTY 1/EA. 4. Make the peptide output files available to NMRC on the analysis tools for proteomics software server by password, QTY 1/EA.
