- Issue date: 08/16/2017 Closing Date: 09/06/2017 Type of Procurement: Requirements Corporate Contract DLA Direct (Stock) NSN: 1650-01-660-8195. This is a commercial item. The proposed acquisition will be an addition to a United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) subsumable contract under SPM4AX08D8408/SPE4AX17D9421. This item is sole source to UTAS. This acquisition is covered by a Class Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition document. Critical Safety Items (CSIs): This item is a Navy-identified CSI. DAAN-09-06 Critical Safety Items (September 2016) applies. Nomenclature: Flame Detector, Infrared End Item Application: Varies Quantity: One price is requested for each quantity range below: Quantity 500-1000 Quantity 1001-2500 Quantity 2501-5000 Quantity 5001-7500 Quantity 7501-10000 Alternate quantity ranges may be proposed by the contractor. Options: Options are in accordance with contract SPM4AX08D9408 and solicitation SPE4AX17R0001. Price and delivery for a minimum of two years, up to a maximum of five years, is requested. Inspection & Acceptance: Origin FOB: Origin Approved sources: UTAS, CAGE 61423. Critical Items, Aircraft fire suppression equipment. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis/solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. In accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. Conditions for evaluation and acceptance of offers for part numbered items cited in the acquisition identification description (AID): This agency has no data available for evaluating the acceptability of alternate products offered.
