- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Water Utility Services for the United States Penitentiary (USP) located Big Sandy, Inez, KY. The successful contractor will be required to supply potable water in accordance with our annual demand. Currently the 3 year average usage is 99,765,668 gallons per year. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices with a performance period of ten (10) years. The solicitation will be available on or about August 15, 2017 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps. gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be availabl e. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about August 29, 2017. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 221310 and the applicable small business standard is $27.5 Million or less. Please ensure CCR registration includes the appropriate NAICS code. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
