Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, dated January 19, 2017. Solicitation VA262-17-Q-1715 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. This procurement will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code is 333314 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard 500 Employees. The Government is seeking a contract to acquire tonometers that are essential for measuring intraocular pressure. Tonometers will utilize single-use disposable probes to prevent cross contamination. This solicitation is seeking brand name or equal to products. The requirement consists of the following systems and components as brand name or equal to products: Unit: ICare IC100 Tonometer with case: Product # TA011 See attached SF 1449 Solicitation for further details. Place of Performance: VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS), 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. Period of Performance: Within 60 days of placing order or sooner if available. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Furthermore, Provision 52.212-2 is utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) on an Acceptable/Unacceptable evaluation process.
