***IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANY SITE OTHER THAN THE FAA CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES SITE, PLEASE GO TO https://faaco.faa.gov TO VIEW THE ANNOUCNEMENT AND ANY ATTACHMENTS IN THEIR ENTIRETY.*** The purpose of this announcement is to provide an update to the previously announced requirement for an FAA Integrated Service Center, DTFACT-16-R-00061. Since the posting of the Draft SIR on 2/27/17, all documents have undergone changes. However, the following documents have undergone significant changes: - Draft Base Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Draft Service Center Support Performance Work Statement (PWS) The FAA is providing updated draft versions of these documents, so Industry may review and provide feedback/questions. This feedback is for informational and planning purposes only, and the FAA does not intend on providing answers to any questions asked. Industry participation while encouraged is strictly voluntary. Failure to provide a response will not prevent a vendor from submitting a formal response to the FAA's release of a future SIR. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response the draft documents. It is the responsibility of the vendor to review the draft documents in their entirety to understand the full breadth of the changes. The following are some specific areas of note: - The FAA is no longer requiring the vendor to own the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool. The vendor will be required to use the FAA-provided tool, which is currently Remedy 9.1. - There is no longer a segregation of helpdesk and deskside services under the Service Center Support PWS. All feedback regarding these documents must be sent to 9-faa-it-isc@faa.gov no later than close of business August 30, 2017.
