- PR: 69451769 NSN: 5960-01-163-6416 ITEM: Electron Tube QTY: 250 EACH DELIVERY: 10 units delivered in 210 days; with the remaining balance at a rate of 50 units every 30 days thereafter until complete. The shipping destination will be Warner Robins, GA. Price breaks up to 350 units will be included in the solicitation Item is solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved source : Excelitas Technologies Corp. 25506 P/N HY-10N. NSN 5960-01-163-6416 is to be procured in-accordance-with BASIC DRAWING NR 95542 956-089. Due to the criticality of the item, procurement is restricted to sources specified on the "Source Controlled" drawing. Excelitas Technologies Corp. 25506 is currently the only known approved source for this item. Once the solicitation is issued, PROCUREMENT NOTE - "RESTRICTION OF ALTERNATE OFFERS FOR SOURCE CONTROLLED ITEMS" will apply. (a) This acquisition is restricted to source(s) specified on the source control drawing applicable to the item in the purchase order text (POT). Only offers which propose to supply the exact product of the approved sources will be considered for award. (b) DLA will not evaluate and approve alternate offers for this item. Offerors who are interested in qualifying their product for purposes of future acquisitions must contact the cognizant design activity specified on the source control drawing. (c) Award of this solicitation will not be held pending qualification and approval of any product. If your product has been recently approved but not added to the list of approved sources cited in the source control drawing, a copy of the cognizant design activity's letter of approval must be submitted with your offer. First Article Testing is not required. Inspection / Acceptance at Destination FOB Origin. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. If this acquisition is for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or has an APO/FPO ship-to address, FDT will not apply and normal procedures should be followed. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clauses 52.247-9059 F.O.B. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Additional information about FDT can be found on the FDT website ( http://www.dla.mil/FDTPI/ ). This solicitation is an RFP and will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date of September 5, 2017. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available, and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of Price, Delivery, and Past Performance as described in the solicitation.
