Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) DD Form 1423-1 MISSILE RAIL LAUNCHER (MRL) Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) DD Form 1423-1 Agenda Industry Day Invite Informational forum AIM 129 Missile Rail Launch er MEMORANDUM FOR INTERESTED SOURCES FROM: Armament, AFLCMC/EBK 235 Byron St, Suite 19A Robins AFB GA 31098-1813 SUBJECT: AIM 120 Missile Rail Launcher (MRL), Informational Forum 1. A tentative requirement for AIM 120 Missile Rail Launcher (MRL) has been assigned to the AFMC 409 SCMS/GUME. It is anticipated that this tentative acquisition will be a competitive acquisition. In order to propose on this acquisition, all vendors must submit a Pre-Award Qualification requirements and be approved. We anticipate that this will be a price only competition among the qualified vendors. The program team anticipates the award of a requirements-type contract. 2. In order to capture the business practices that are customarily found in the marketplace of the Missile Rail Launcher industry as well as industry input relative to the Government's Missile Rail Launcher requirements, an Informational Forum will be conducted 27 March 2016 beginning at 09:00 in the Mercer Engineering Research Center, 135 Osigian Boulevard, Warner Robins, GA. This forum will afford all interested sources an opportunity to participate in the initial planning and strategy for this acquisition. It will allow you to view a Launcher in person, meet the Government team and obtain answers to any questions. Prior to this Information Forum, it will be most beneficial if industry reviews the draft Statement of Work (SOW), draft Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) Technical Data Package (TDP), and the Pre-Award Qualification Requirements. 3. After reviewing all documentation, any comments and questions shall be submitted to howard.george@us.af.mil and virginia.elliott.1@us.af.mil via https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/safe/Welcome.aspx no later than 15 March 2017. 4. Draft copies of the SOW, CDRLs, and TDP are posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov under FA8554-17-R-0004 and will be the focus of the Informational Forum. To facilitate the process, all participants, both industry and Government, are expected to be familiar with these technical documents. A general overview of the workshop is as follows: welcome, administrative comments, program team presentation of the MRL mission, and review of the draft SOW, and CDRLs. 5. Industry participation in this workshop is entirely voluntary. The Government does not intend to pay for the information before/obtained during the workshop or for the time or expense of the industry participants involved. Further, the Government requires unrestricted use of any information resulting from the forum. The results/minutes from the forum as well as Government responses to questions/comments received will be posted to the web page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov under FA8554-17-R-0004. The Government reserves the right to revise the products of the forum to ensure all user requirements are satisfied. 6. We are looking forward to seeing you at the Informational Forum.
