- The purpose of this Request for Offer is to seek competent and qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, insurance, notifications, license, permits, fees and supervision necessary to provide Janitorial Services at the Anchorage ANI Complex Building in Anchorage, AK, in accordance with the specifications, contract clauses, terms, conditions and wage rates. This is a Small Business Set Aside. Small businesses competing for this acquisition shall certify their status on the Business Declaration form inserted following Part IV, Section K. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561720, Housekeeping/Janitorial Services SUBMIT OFFERS TO: SEE PART IV, SECTION L. OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN September 14, 2017, 12:00 PM PACIFIC TIME (PT). THIS IS A REQUEST FOR OFFERS, THUS NO FORMAL BID OPENING WILL OCCUR AND RESULTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE BY TELEPHONE. DO NOT CALL FOR RESULTS. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and certified 8(a) contractors are encouraged to submit a request for this project. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
