5 Ton Hook SLDPRT 10 Ton Hook 3D SLDPRT file 17 Ton Hook SLDPRT file 5 Ton Hook Drawing 10 Ton Drawing Hook Latch Drawing 17 Ton Hook Drawing Hook Specification Offer Quote Attachement Combined Synopsis solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005 95 (Jan 2017) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331513, and the business size standard is 500 Employees. The requirement is for fabrication of three types of steel foundry hooks in accordance the specification provided. It is anticipated that a competitive small business set-aside purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government's belief manufacturers of foundry hooks can provide the required parts. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106 apply. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. The Coast Guard intends to award on a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Solicitation number HSCG40-17-Q-40401 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES: The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN)s: CLIN 0001: ITEM: 17 Short tons (T) / 34,000 lb foundry hooks END USE: Buoy Tenders Lifting Hooks SPECIFICATION NUMBER: P-573-2033 Drawing FL-1701-18 QUANTITY: 6 EA CLIN 0002: ITEM: 10 Short tons (T) / 20,000 lb foundry hooks END USE: Buoy Tenders Lifting Hooks SPECIFICATION NUMBER: P-573-2033, Drawing FL-1701-19 QUANTITY: 10 EA CLIN 0003: ITEM: 5 Short tons (T) / 10,000 lb foundry hooks END USE: Buoy Tenders Lifting Hooks SPECIFICATION NUMBER: P-573-2033 Drawing FL-1701-20 QUANTITY: 20 EA CLIN 0004: ITEM: 17 Short tons (T) / 34,000 lb foundry hooks PATTERNS QUANTITY: 1 EA Patterns, and any modifications to patterns, shall be made of any material deemed acceptable by the Contractor that meets the requirements of Section 3.4.2. Patterns shall compensate for shrinkage and other factors so the final cast hook shape and dimensions meet the requirements of Section 3.3.1 and Section 3.3.2. Each pattern shall produce at least 1,000 parts each. All patterns shall be assigned a unique identification number. Modified patterns shall keep the same pattern identification number.
