- Page 1 of 1 This proposed contract action is for a firm fixed-price order from the VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) contract V797P-2065D with Olympus America, Inc., for a period of twelve months and two option years and a purchase option. The Government intends to award this requirement as a sole source to Olympus America, Inc. based on the reason that only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies and services ordered are unique or highly specialized. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency if received by 11:00am EDT, August 25, 2017 via the POC email below. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government to not compete this contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn VA Medical Center, requires that the Contractor shall lease to the Government Olympus bronchoscopes and related equipment with an option to purchase. Some items are not available from the NAC contract and are priced on the open market. The Contractor shall also provide full maintenance service support for the leased equipment, which is also an open market service. The following are the equipment items to be leased and possibly purchased: Model MAJ-1720: Probe Driving Unit for Ultrasound Miniature Probes, 1 each Model UM-S20-17S: Ultrasound through the scope probe, 2 each Model MAH-1626: EUS arm mount kit for WM-WP1 and WM-NP1, 1 each Model OEV-262H*: High Definition LED LCD Monitor, 1 each Model EU-ME2*: Ultrasound Processor, 1 each Model BF-P180*: Videoscope 4.9MM DIA 2.0MM CH, 1 each Model BF-H190: EEIII** Q-Image Diag. IC Bronch w/ 5.1mm OD, 2mm Chan, 1 each Model BF-1TH190*: EEIII** HD Therapeutic Bronchoscope, 2 each Model BF-1T180: EEII** therap. video Bronch w/ 6.0MM Dia., 3.0mm Chan, 1 each Model BF-UC180F*: Ultrasound Bronchoscope, 2 each Model CV-190*: EEIII** Video Processor, 1 each Model CLV-190*: EEIII** Light Source, 1 each *Denotes Open Market items **Denotes Evis Exera II for EEII and Evis Exera III for EEIII The Brooklyn VA Medical Center is located at 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, New York 11209-7104 and is where the equipment will be used and maintained.
