North American Classification System (NAICS) Code: 811219 Small business size standard: $20.5 million Classification Code: J - Maintenance, Repair and or Rebuilding of Equipment Set-aside Status: The proposed acquisition is set-aside for small business. Competition Status: This requirement is posted as competitive small business set-aside. Description: The purpose of this acquisition is to repair a Sanyo ultra-low temperature biomedical freezer (model MDF-U73VC; serial 07100046) by rebuilding both refrigeration systems National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Division of Pre-Clinical Innovation (DPI) of the houses the Automation and Compound Management group (ACOMM) that uses numerous types of sophisticated and automated sample management and liquid-handling instrumentation. Storing compound samples at an appropriate temperature is vital for the integrity and preservation of each sample. ACOMM Sanyo ultra-low-temperature biomedical freezer (model MDF-U73VC; serial 07100046) refrigeration systems need to be rebuilt. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request For Quotation (RFQ) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Refer to attached "Statement of Work Attachment" for project requirements, evaluation criteria and methodology. Summary Statement: All responses to this request for quotation must be received by 5 PM Eastern Standard Time, on August 23, 2017 and must reference the announcement number specified above. Responses may be submitted electronically to Michelle Morelli, Contract Specialist, at michelle.morelli@nih.gov Fax responses will not be accepted. In addition the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size must be included in the response.
