Source Sought Attachment 1 REQUESTING AGENCY: Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA265 F/A-18A-D PURPOSE: Intend to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company for parts needed to replace the untracked primary load path, critical Main Landing Gear (MLG) and Nose Landing Gear (NLG) components of the F/A-18A-D in support of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 1121-11 and 1122-11 Airframe Changes (AFC) 621 and 621 "Main Landing Gear Critical Components Retrofit Kits". The Navy does not own the technical documents needed to manufacture these parts and all parts must be supplied from one vendor. Any interested party that feels it can satisfy this requirement must identify in writing its interest, experience and capability to satisfy the requirement no later than 05 September 2017. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (C)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. REQUIRED CAPABILITES: 1. Ability to manufacture like or similar parts (all 28 parts) as shown in Attachment 1 2. Ability to manufacture Critical Safety Items (CSI) 3. Are authorized sources of supply for the Navy/NAVSUP 4. Have access to process specifications to manufacture landing gear parts 5.
