The Zimmer Patient Helper HD (Heavy Duty) is designed as an assistive device for the patient during ingress to the bed and egress from the bed. The device is designed for use by patients weighing up to 400 pounds. It features adjustable height and can also be adjusted from left to right to assist patient movement within the bed. 4. Scope. To provide 25 pt. helper trapezes This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89 effective July 14, 2016. This requirement is a Firm Fixed Price and only qualified respondents may submit quotes. This solicitation VA258-17-Q-0677 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. This RFQ is being issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business set a-side under NAICS Code 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a small business standard of 1000 Emp. Any Award Made as a Result of this Solicitation will be made on an All or Nothing Basis based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
