Description

Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify in locating capable small businesses, including Service Disabled and Veteran Owned small businesses, or any business size, capable of providing the items as listed in the attached Statement of Need. These items are for the Department of Veteran Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Pittsburgh, PA. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Point of Contact, business size info. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at donna.cooper2@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 2:00pm EST on Friday, August 25, 2017. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to donna.cooper2@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. The Department of Veteran Affairs VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System is looking to procure the OPTIS OCT UPGRADE KIT. The purchase of the Abbott Vascular (St. Jude Medical) OPTIS Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Ultrasound System upgrade kit will be used to evaluate coronary stenosis and stent placement post coronary angioplasty. The following items are listed below: The Department of Veteran Affairs VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has the following need: OPTIS OCT UPGRADE KIT- The purchase of the Abbott Vascular (St. Jude Medical) OPTIS Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Ultrasound System upgrade kit will be used to evaluate coronary stenosis and stent placement post coronary angioplasty. This upgrade will provide us the latest software to analyze in 3D mode. With the installation of our new Cath labs will also be able to utilize our new Karl Storz Video Integration System. OCT enhances daily decision making for complex PCI, both pre- and post-stenting. The OPTIS Stent Optimization Software delivers tools to further improve stent sizing and placement while providing apposition assessment for drug-eluting and bare-metal stents. The upgrade will provide New Clinical Functionality Stent roadmap, Automated measurements, Stent apposition indicator, 3-D bifurcation mode, Side branch detection, Enhanced 3-D navigation, 3-D flythrough mode, Turn on/off display of tissue, lumen, guidewires, and stent(s) in 3-D view. Optis Mobile Upgrade Kit, Item, Optis Mobile Install Kit; Optis Tableside Controller. Delivery: All items shall be delivered to: Department of Veteran Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240.
