Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is VA244-17-R-1286 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This solicitation is a 100% Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 561621, and the small business size standard is $20.5 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Wilmington VA Medical Center, Wilmington, DE,19805, has a requirement for the expansion of their existing Lenel On-Guard security system. The project requires additional cameras, engineering, licensing fees, programming, integration into the existing system, and system design documentation/as-built drawings. The cameras provided under this project have a Brand Name or Equal requirement. Please download the solicitation for full details in the Statement of Work. The Contractor shall be responsible for installation of all cabling in EMT conduit, testing and termination of cabling, mounting of cameras, and setting of PoE/Ethernet switches to make a fully functional, fully integrated expansion of the existing security system. Work shall be completed in no more than 180 Days after receipt of Notice to Proceed at the following location: Department of Veterans Affairs Wilmington VA Medical Center 1601 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19805 Please include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with your offer. A pdf copy of solicitation VA244-17-R-1286, applicable drawings and Wage Determination are available for download with this posting. Proposals are due no later than 12:00 PM EST on Friday, September 15, 2017, and shall be submitted electronically to jennifer.cutshall2@va.gov. Proposals received after this deadline may not be considered. Any amendments to this solicitation will be posted in the same manner as the solicitation. A site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM EST at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805.
