Description
The WA ANG located at Camp Murray, WA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order by other than full and open competition. Only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The 248 Civil Engineering Flight requires is in urgent need of the removal, installation and testing of DDC system control modules at Bldg 116 on Camp Murray, WA. The urgent requirement of Siemens brand parts, and installation/testing required to be from a Siemens employed service specialist, is necessary in order to assure Bldg 116's return to a 100% operational HVAC system. Siemens is the only contractor that can effectively troubleshoot, order/install proprietary parts and ensure the proper testing is complete in a timely and cost effective manner appropriate for the government's urgent need for system recovery. Because Bldg 116 is currently without an operational HVAC system, the current effects are undo heat stress on the tenants, the 248 CEF maintenance workers and other bldg infrastructure/equipment (e.g. servers) reliant on consistent/specific temperatures. Delay can cause further significant damage to other systems, leading to wasted time and public tax dollars. The government cannot risk delaying this procurement from Siemens any longer than it already has. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
