Description
Statement of Work (SOW) FAR 52.212-5 Commercial Items, Terms and Conditions This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-RML-D-1855973 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-98 January 01, 2017. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621511, Medical Laboratories, with a small business size standard of $32.5 million. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for standing histology and immunohistochemistry services for Zika vaccine development program per the attached statement of work (SOW), per the line items below. Anticipated period of performance (POP) 09/01/2017-08/31/2018. # Description Qty 1 H&E staining 300 each 2 Ab titration 5 each 3 Immunohistochemistry (single marker) 600 each 4 Immunohistochemistry (triple marker+DAPI) 25 each PLEASE QUOTE THE ORDER PER THE LINE ITEMS ABOVE AND INCLUDE SUPPORTING INFORMATION ON HOW SAMPLES WILL BE HANDLES AND PROCESSED BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ATTACHED SOW. MUST INCLUDE INFORMATION ON SAMPLE SCHEDULING, TRANSPORTATION, AND TURNAROUND TIMES. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE EVALUATED ALONG WITH PRICE IN THE AWARD DETERMINATION. FOB: Destination The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor resulting from this request for quotes that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
