Page 1 of 2 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached to this announcement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, dated January 19, 2017. Solicitation # VA262-17-Q-1805 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award from this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562910 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard is $20.5 million for this procurement. This procurement will be issued as a total set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), see VAAR Clause 852.219-10. As such, quoters must be verified as a SDVOSB on the VA Center for Verification and Evaluation s website located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov to be considered for award. The Government is seeking a Contractor shall provide all necessary resources, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and expertise to perform asbestos abatement and demolition. Contractor must perform in accordance to the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The project must be completed in accordance with industry and conformance standards, applicable safety regulations, Government contract specifications and this scope of work. This requirement will be subject to Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) prevailing wages WD 15-5613 (Rev.7) dated August 22, 2017. Place of Performance: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Period of Performance: September 8, 2017 to September 7, 2018 (Estimated). The Government s intent is to award without discussions. Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for August 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM PDT at VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Building #500, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Quoter(s) will meet at the north entrance of Building # 500 with Tue M. Tran, Contract Specialist as he will be hosting the site visit. Attendance is NOT mandatory, but highly encouraged so quoter(s) can inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent the information is reasonably obtainable. All quoter(s) SHOULD RSVP for this site visit and limited to two (2) attendees per quoter. Please RSVP with Tue M. Tran via email no later than August 28, 2017 12:00 PM PDT. Ensure to reference solicitation # VA262-17-Q-1805 - VAGLAHS ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SITE VISIT within subject line of the email. Submitting Quote: Quoter(s) shall submit their quote using the Price Schedule attachment provided in this solicitation. Quoters shall also submit evidence they can meet the qualifications of section 14 of the SOW; this should in a Microsoft Word or Adobe. Finally, quoters must submit their current SDVOSB certification from the VA Center for Verification and Evaluation s website located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
