- Statement of Requirement This is a new requirement; the Air Force Chaplain Corps College (AFCCC) requires Land Mobile Radios (LMR) that will operate off of the existing LMR network at Tyndall AFB, FL. AFCCC students and faculty attend Silver Flag exercises at Tyndall AFB where they are immersed in real world training scenarios. Tyndall's LMR system requires specific system functionality and interface without which, the students are not able to fully engage other exercise participants and Cadre in this training environment Tyndall AFB solely uses a Motorola ELMR system that has requirements based on certain system needs. The radios listed in this SOR are the only radios that meet the specific requirements for this system. 2. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: There is no contractual summary to add due to this being a procurement of goods to be programmed by the Tyndall AFB Comm Squadron. 3. PROJECT OVERVIEW. The information in this section is provided to assist the contractor in preparing responses to this solicitation and is for reference only. The contractor is responsible for verifying all information provided in this solicitation. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and services in support of the program. 3. System hardware is as follows: (1) Motorola APX7500 UHF R1 Consolette, (8) Motorola SPX2200 UHF R1 Portable Radios, (1) MCD5000 Deskset, (1) Multi Unit Charger, (2) Single Unit Chargers, (8) Batteries, and (2) Remote Speaker Microphones. These radios will be maintained by Tyndall AFB for Eaker Center personnel 4. BASIC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Please see attachment "Salient Characteristics" 5. INSTALLATION There are no installation services. The items listed are on a "plug and play" status 6. WARRANTY The radio equipment end items (SRX2200 and APX Consolette) will have a 3 year warranty against manufacturer defects. All other associated items will have a one year manufacturer warranty.
