Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division intends to solicit, negotiate, and award with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The contract extension is to Air Management Solutions, Inc. to acquire Airborne Infection Isolation Room (AIIR) maintenance and certification services for ICE/ERO Detention Facilities throughout the United States for six (6) months. Air Management Solutions, Inc. will continue to provide services until an RFQ is re-issued and an award is made with an anticipated start date of March 1, 2018. It is critical that Air Management Services, Inc. continues to provide the services as the government cannot risk the health and safety of detainees and employees at detention facilities if a lapse in services were to occur. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; it is for informational purposes only. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to Ms. Bethany Stutler at Bethany.Stutler@ice.dhs.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
