AMENDMENT A00001 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION VA248-17-Q-1430 TITLE: VISN 8- SERVICES: ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR THE VA CARIBBEAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM, SAN JUAN, PR QUESTIONS FROM QUOTERS AND RESPONSES FROM CONTRACTING OFFICER: QUESTION NO. 1- Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services or if this is a new requirement? RESPONSE NO 1.- No, this Agency does not have any incumbent contractor performing these services. Therefore, this is a new requirement. QUESTION NO.2- Confirm that this is a fixed-price and will not be subject to task order negotiation? RESPONSE NO. 2- YES, this will be a fixed price contract and not subject to task order negotiation. QUESTION NO.3-Confirm that the period of performance is only two months, in accordance with section 5.0 of the RFP? RESPONSE NO.3- Period of performance is only two months, in accordance with section 5.0. This combined synopsis solicitation is not a Request for Proposal. This is a Request for Quotation per Synopsis information provided in the Combined Synopsis/solicitation. QUESTION NO.4- Will an extension be considered due to the solicitation advertisement, responses to questions, and submittal deadline occurring within less than one week?
