- Request for Proposal The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to competitively award an IDIQ for the production weights to support MQ-8C Unmanned Aircraft System. Part Number Item 212-010-710-115 WEIGHT 206-011-157-107 WEIGHT 206-011-157-109 WEIGHT 206-011-157-111 WEIGHT This procurement is a Limited Competition between the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Bell Helicopter, and their authorized distributors of these items. ANY VENDORS WHO SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL MUST PROVIDE SUBSTANTIAL DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT THAT THEY ARE AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR OF ALL OF THE BELL HELICOPTER ITEMS THAT ARE OUTLINED IN SECTION B. This competitive, procurement will be conducted using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach to select the offer that meets all the requirements outlined in the solicitation. It is anticipated that a Fixed-Price five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract will be awarded. It is anticipated that the minimum contract requirements will be ordered under the first delivery order and will be issued at the time of contract award, as outlined in the attached solicitation document. The solicitation will ONLY be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fbo.gov
