Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for existing Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) services in the State of Florida for the Police Services connection into the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) database. These LEC services include LEC telecommunication data circuits (T-1). The intended sole source award will be a firm-fixed price contract with the State of Florida (FDLE), Dept. of Mgmt. Services, 4030 Esplanade Way, Suite #280, Tallahassee, FL 32399. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517110. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2017. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal/quote and is not intended to be taken as such. This notification shall close on September 1, 2017.
