This will be set-aside for SDVOSB s in NAICS 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. To be considered eligible for award all SDVOSB s must be registered/verified through Vetbiz.gov. This will be a Brand name or equal to: Verathon BladderScan Prime 3 each: Portable BladderScan Prime with Five Year Warranty 3 each: BladderScan Prime Mobile Cart To be considered technically acceptable, the equipment must be compatible with the existing Verathon BladderScanners and carts currently in use at the Portland VAMC and must meet the following minimum salient characteristics. Utilizes a unique second harmonic Algorithm analyzes complex, multifaceted ultrasound images Differentiates the bladder, urine and hypo-echogenic regions such as the uterus · Unique scanning modes (male, female, small child) Touch screen controls Live B-mode pre-scan aiming to reduce user error Post-scan aiming guidance to minimize uncertainty Off-center scan and pubic bone interference notifications Intuitive user interface Onboard video tutorial for training and ease of use Customizable savings calculator to track cost of ownership Must come with a stand Premium mobile cart Premium mobile cart (roller stand) must come with this Accuracy range of + (15% + 15mL) Scan from either side of patient Drop-tested durability for long life and service ENTIRE UNIT MUST BE ENCLOSED FOR DISINFECTING AFTER USE IN ISOLATION PRECAUTION IN-PATIENT CARE ROOMS Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. This procurement is for new Equipment ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201 to synopsize proposed contract actions. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
