Description
Request for Quote Revision: 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 and Defense Publication Notice 20161222. 3) The NAICS is 336310, Motor Vehicle Gasoline Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is 1000 employees. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Small Business. 4) Description: a) Remanufacture Detroit 8V92 engine 1. Serviceable core will be provided. Rebuild engine to O.E.M. specifications, including but not limited to blower assembly, turbo chargers, injectors, governor, water pump, fuel pump, sensors and sending units. Include shipping core from MAFB to rebuild center and shipping back of remanufactured engine to Minot, ND. One year warranty on parts and labor. b) Remanufacture Allison Transmission 1. Serviceable core will be provided. Rebuild Allison Transmission to O.E.M. specifications. Replace with new internal parts, including relining or replacement of bands, rebuilding or replacement of pump assembly, torque converter rebuilt and balanced, and valve body remanufactured and calibrated. Include shipping core from MAFB to rebuild center and shipping back of remanufactured transmission to Minot, ND. Six month warranty on parts.
