Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for Steelcase Furniture for the Asheville VAMC with Pomerantz Acquisition Corporation in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5) FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute and Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 VAAR 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Concerns. This intent to award notification is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer as prescribed in VAAR 819.70007(b) The Government intends to award the contract on or about September 10, 2017 to Pomerantz Acquisition Corporation; 123 S Broad Street; Suite 1260; Philadelphia, PA 19109. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), requiring publication of the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for quote and no solicitation shall be made available. Any responses received shall only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The government shall not pay for any costs incurred by responses to this notice.
