Description
(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation W912JB-17-T-4098 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. (IV) This acquisition is being solicited as restricted (Small Business). The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 332999. Federal Supply Classification Code is 3950, Small Business size standard is 750 employees. (V) SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: Requirement is for two vertical lift modules (VLMs) and must meet the following salient characteristics identified in the CLIN 0001 description CLIN 0001: Vertical Lift Module QTY 2 Unit Price $ Extended Price $ Description: Minimum 24 trays per VLM Tray Width = 74" +/- 8" Tray Depth = 33.74" +/- 6" Max Tray Capacity = 1,100 lbs +/- 250 lbs Max Vertical travel Speed (ft/min) = minimum of 180 ft/min Unit Footprint external (WXD) = Minimum 85" X 140" Capability to monitor and log tray weight (to reduce the risk of overloading) Touchscreen interface with minimum one USB port and associated software Automatic door for access opening Integrated Emergency Stop Button Capable of internal and external bay configuration. Software installation and training. This training shall be provided at a separate date/time after installation of the unit. Training date to be coordinated with customer and shall occur within 4 weeks of installation. CLIN 0002: Removal and disposal of existing VLMs QTY 5 Unit Price $ Extended Price $ Description: Kardex Industrievers 6000 vertical carousels Quotes should be submitted with pricing according to each individual CLIN listed above. (VI) This solicitation is for the purchase of two vertical lift modules to be delivered and installed at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan. (VII ) Delivery : 30 Days ADC (VIII) The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial in its latest edition applies to this solicitation. (IX) The clause FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. Addendum to FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Oct 2014) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award shall me made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The Government may award without discussions; however, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in the Government's best interest. Quotes will be evaluated on price and offeror's ability to meet the delivery and specification requirements of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Only new equipment will be accepted. Re-manufactured or grey market items will not be accepted. All items must include a manufacturer's warranty and be stated in their quote.
