Description

Minimum & Salient Characteristics This is a Presolicitation Notice Only. No contract shall be awarded from this Presolicitation Notice. The anticipated requirement is for reagents and leased (brand name or equal) Microscan Walkaway WA-96 Plus system, MicroScan AutoScan 4 and Bruker Maldi BioTyper (Bruker MBT) to be located at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC), Ft Hood, Texas 76544. This requirement will be unrestricted using North American Classification System (NAICS) code 334516 - "Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing". The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The period of performance will be 1 October 2017 through 30 September 2018, one year base and one option year. See attached for the minimum/salient characteristics. The government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about August 28, 2017. All contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
