SOURCES SOUGHT: Veterans Health Affairs Network Contracting Office 4 is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify vendors in the Pittsburgh, PA area that are capable of providing F-18 FDG for patient administration for the purposes of PET scanning. REQUIREMENT: Manufacture and deliver the product F-18 FDG for patient administration for the purposes of PET scanning. All doses will be in unit dose (UD) form and will be delivered in shielded lead containers. Deliveries will be during normal working hours which are from 7AM 4:30PM daily, except for weekends and holidays. All deliveries will be considered routine deliveries and will not incur any additional delivery charge regardless of the number of deliveries per day. Mislabeling of doses as to amount or type of radiopharmaceutical cannot be tolerated. All empty containers will be removed by the vendor at no additional charge. The contractor will remain fully responsible for the safe delivery of all radiopharmaceuticals according to the rules and regulations of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The delivery of unit doses of F-18 FDG for PET scanning will be set according to the number of patients scheduled for PET scanning on any given day. The number of unit doses will be pre-ordered the day before with calibration times of each unit dose communicated to the vendor. The possibility of add on patients is always present and such required doses will be ordered as early as possible on the same day as needed. All deliveries will be to the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center at the University Drive Campus located at University Drive C, Pittsburgh PA, 15240 The period of performance for this requirement will be 10/1/2017 through 9/30/2018. RESPONSES: NCO 4 is seeking responses from Contractors that are interested in this requirement and can demonstrate their capability to provide the required radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the aforementioned information.
