Description
The Mississippi National Guard 1108th TASMG SSA is requesting to replace the current Kompak automatic electric mobile rolling bin systems to a mechanical geared system. The current automated system has a very high malfunction rate and is an obsolete system. The work will include removal of all the automated rolling bins control motors and sensors, and replace them with manual geared system. This is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The intended procurement will be under the NAICS code 337214 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. All requests for information shall be emailed to the contracting specialist listed herein: robert.w.mayhue2.mil@mail.mil There will be a site visit on TASMG, Hangar 1, Hewes Avenue, Gulfport, MS on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is strongly encouraged to inspect the existing bin system and have any specific questions answered. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W9127Q-17-T-0063 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. This acquisition is set aside for small business. This announcement is the solicitation which will result in a firm fixed price contract. Award can only be made to those offerors that hold an active registration through the System for Award Management (SAMs). For those that are not registered, you may log onto the internet at www.sam.gov. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 p.m. CST, 5 September 2017.
