- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 (effective 1/19/17). It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. The solicitation number is P17PS01928, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The NAICS code is 484220 with an associated small business size standard of $27 million. This solicitation is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in firm fixed price contracts to vendors determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. This solicitation allows for multiple awards. 1 - DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service has a requirement for a Vendor (e.g., contractor or company) to deliver various rock products to three different pit locations within Olympic National Park, WA, as follows: (1.1) 150 tons of Heavy-Loose Riprap, 60 tons of Light-Loose Riprap, 120 tons of 1 1/4" minus Crushed Surfacing Base Course, and 150 tons of Select Borrow Fill; all to be delivered to the Barkhurst Pit in the Quinault area of the park. From Highway 101, turn onto the Quinault North Shore Road which is approx. 7 miles west of Highway 101. Take the first north (left) turn west of the Finley Creek Bridge. Rock products delivered to the Barkhurst Pit will be used for bank armoring, root wad ballasting, and roadway base course placement. Deliveries to the Barkhurst Pit shall begin as soon as possible after award, or starting by 9/6/17, and continue through 9/21/17. (1.2) 200 tons of 1 1/4" minus Crushed Surfacing Base Course, and 100 tons of Quarry Spalls (4" - 8"); all to be delivered to the Hoh Pit in the Hoh Rainforest area of the park, approx. 35 miles outside of Forks, WA. From Highway 101, turn onto the Upper Hoh Road (Route 107) which is east of Highway 101. Continue another 3.5 miles beyond the entrance station to the Hoh Rainforest. Deliveries to the Hoh Pit shall begin by 9/11/17 and continue through 9/29/17. (1.3) 300 tons 1 1/4" minus Crushed Surfacing Base Course, and 100 tons of Quarry Spalls (4" - 8"); all to be delivered to the Sol Duc Pit in the Sol Duc area of the park, approx. 30 miles west of Port Angeles, WA. From Highway 101, turn onto the Sol Duc Hotsprings Road, and the Sol Duc Pit is approx. 2.3 miles up the road (further south). Deliveries to the Sol Duc Pit shall begin by 9/11/17 and continue through 9/29/17. NOTE - - THIS SYNOPSIS PAGE CONTAINS ONLY PART OF THE SOLICITATION DETAILS.
