Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, North East Area, has a requirement for providing a Flow Cytometer. The product includes, but is not limited to, these principal features: Have the capability of up to 3 lasers, 14 parameters with 12 colors, use state of the art fiber optics to carry the light/fluorescent signal from the flow cell for the PMTs, have have fixed alignment optics in conjunction with solid state lasers, have easily replaceable optical filters and mirrors for experimental flexibility, have sensitivity of <30 MESF-PE, <80 MESF-FITC and <75 MESF-APC (published specs), provide for performing real-time statistics and off-line data analysiswith user friendly software. have software for standardizing and QC the instrument. Totally automates the QC of numerous parameters and alerts the user if a parameter does not meet specification and tracks the QC parameters over time, be capable of analyzing at least 30 logical gates, have digital electronics with acquisition speeds of 25000 events per second, have the capability to sample from a 96 well microtiter plate with the HTS (High Throughput Sampler). The HTS can run a 96 well plate in the high throughput mode is less than 15 minutes, use continuous flow of sheath fluid, no syringe based systems, for looking at unlimited data volume or rare event analysis, have the capability for adding the FacsFlow Supply System which has at least 10 liter capacity for sheath fluid and waste thus allowing the user to run the unit for long periods of time without needing to add Sheath fluid doing long runs, have a proven user base with service support guaranteed within 48 hours. Have a foot print of <2'x2' and a height of 2' or less, have electronics that have virtually zero electronic noise thus allowing the user to see real populations down to the 1-2 log region, System must be configured to run the latest Brilliant Dyes from Sirigen. Performance Period: The Contractor shall supply this product within 60 calendar days after receipt of order. It is anticipated that award will result in a firm fixed-price contract. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation AG-32SC-S-17-0070 will be a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. A list of line items is not included, only a list of minimum requirements. This solicitation incorporates the following commercial FAR clauses by reference 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5. The following applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.225-13, 52.232-33, and 52.232-36 (FAR clauses may be obtained at www.acquisition.gov).
