- Synopsis; 411th CSB RCO Pyeongtaek, South Korea has a requirement for: Item #1: All Terrain Berms (Brand Name or Equal to): Basic Concepts, P/N: 1013-00369-201 •Constructed of flexible fabric supported by A-Frame aluminum braces. •The wall height is 36" with an additional extension to deflect and absorb the energy of a wave from a catastrophic failure of a fuel bladder. •Must have A-Frame support braces to allow the all-terrain berm to withstand the force of a full impact of the wave generated by the catastrophic failure of a fuel bladder. The wave guard feature must have the ability to minimizes splash out of fuel. •The berm must be able to be assembled on uneven terrain or slope gradients up to 1.0% for a 20K bladder containment and 0.5% for a 50K bladder. •The berm must allow for easy access to all areas of the bladder for visual inspection of the seams and hose connections with a 3 foot typical walk area around the fuel bladder. Item #2: Poly crate for liner and ground tarp, MFR: Basic Concepts, Inc., Model #: 9001-02126-KDB (Brand Name or Equal)Dimension: 48"x70"x50" Item #3: Poly crate for A Frames, MFR: Basic Concepts, Inc., Model #: 9001-02128-KDB (Brand Name or Equal) Dimension: 48"x70"x34" It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition is Unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code for this requirement is 326199 All Other Plastic Product Manufacturing the Small Business size standard is 750 employees. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, effective 13 January 2017 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20161222, effective 22 December 2016. The solicitation, W90VN8-17-R-0054 will be posted on or about 11 September 2017 and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://www.acquisition.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
